From mid-September to April, we hold a weekly Lodge of Instruction (LoI) meetings on Monday evenings between 19:30 and 21:00hrs.
These sessions give us a chance to meet informally and go through the various pieces of ‘work’ that we perform at our meetings.
This gives us a chance to practice the individual pieces of work that go into our ceremonies, and under the guidance of the more senior members, it allows us to better understand the context of the rituals and the symbolism held within them.
Attending LoI is not mandatory, however, most members who join and aspire to reach the position of Master of the Lodge in due course, use this as a good opportunity to become well versed in our rituals and therefore confident in delivering a well-polished ceremony as a result.
